About The Statute
The purpose of the Rules of Court 2012 is to facilitate and standardise civil case procedures in court, as well as improve the quality of the justice system in the country.
The Rules of Court 2012 which has come into effect on 1 August 2012, replaces the 1980 Rules of the High Court and the 1980 Subordinate Courts Rules.
It contains some significant changes to portions of the previous rules of court. The statute is a must have for all in the judiciary, legal profession and academia.
