OBJECTIVES
This programme is tailored to equip the participants in dealing with issues in collective bargaining and the responses of management to these issues. The programme also will deal with effective strategies and tactics in the process of collective bargaining. The main emphasis will be to prepare employers for effective collective bargaining on a win-win basis.
There will be mock Collective Bargaining based on actual situations in which the participants will be involved in preparing company’s response and mandate. In reversal position, participants will take on the role of Union in Collective Bargaining. This programme is useful for companies who are to negotiate first collective agreements or those whose collective agreements are due for renewal in the course of the next two years. The program will also assist employers who are to negotiate with the trade union in restructuring wages in compliance with the Minimum Wage Order 2012. The restructuring of wages need to be completed before 1st January 2013.

TRAINER
M. Vivekanandan is Special Function Adviser with Malaysian Employers Federation. He has extensive experience representing employers in Industrial and Labour Courts for the past 15 years.
Prior to his attachment to the Malaysian Employers Federation, he had served the Department of Labour the Department of Industrial Relations (H.Q) holding various positions. He was involved in the administration enforcement of labour laws and collective bargaining for 25 years.
He has assisted many companies in concluding collective agreement including performance linked wage systems in collective agreement.
COURSE FEES
A course fee of RM 800.00 (Members) & RM 900.00 (Non Members) per participant will be charged and payable to MEF Academy Sdn Bhd. Early registration is encouraged.
